My name is Forest Vance. I’m a personal trainer and boot camp instructor based out of the Sacramento, CA area. 

In addition to over 15 years of experience in the fitness industry, I have a Master’s of Science in Human Movement with a specialization in Corrective Exercise, as well as being a Certified Corrective Exercise Specialist and Certified Sport Yoga Instructor.

In a ‘former life’, I was a pro football player. I lived in a state of chronic pain. And when my career was over, the wear and tear my football days left on my body unfortunately still lingered.

I knew how to train like an athlete – but I didn’t know how to work out like an ‘average Joe’. And I sure as heck didn’t know how to train to prevent and decrease my chronic pain.

Learning about exercise science, how the body works, and the intricate interplay between muscle balance, core strength, and proper movement was a gradual and rather long process for me. I got a specialty training certification through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (my Corrective Exercise Specialist certification) and that really opened my eyes.ram for myself, to help with the wear and tear on my body from my dozen or so years of competitive sports, including a "cup of coffee" in the NFL.

  • Once per week, on Thursday afternoons / evenings, we'll meet on a Zoom call from 5 to 545 pm, Pacific Standard Time
  • We kick the program off on Thursday, September 9th. We'll meet again on September 16th, September 23rd, September 30th, October 7th, October 14th, and October 21st.
  • Sport Yoga is easier for beginners to perform, based on Hatha yoga, covers traditional sports stretching, and includes dynamic movement sequences for all types of athletes and sports!

This special program is open to ALL - and since we are doing it on Zoom, you can join from anywhere in the world with an internet connection!

If you were to come in and take a private personal training session with me at my studio to learn this, the cost would be $165 for a 45-minute session (if I could fit you into my schedule). FAQ

QUESTION: Do I have to commit to the whole series, or can I attend on a drop-in basis?

ANSWER: This is a special, one-time program that we are running for a limited time frame! You sign up for the whole series.

QUESTION: Hi Forest, what time are you thinking about doing this?

ANSWER: We will be meeting from 5 - 545 pm on Thursday afternoon / evenings, Pacific Standard Time.

QUESTION: What if I miss a session, how can we make it up?

ANSWER: We've "built that in" to the pricing. Originally, we were actually going to make this a 6 week program, but as we know that people occasionally end up having to miss for various reasons, we decided to make it 7 weeks, and keep the price the same. If you make all 7 sessions, the session rate works out to $14.14. And if you have to miss any of the sessions, you'll also have the recorded version that you can go back and do at any time that fits your schedule!
